Metabolic Conditioning

Metabolic conditioning is a high-intensity workout routine that aims to improve both the aerobic and anaerobic systems of the body. Designed to be completed in just 20 minutes, metabolic conditioning targets specific energy pathways and helps to push your limits, both physically and mentally.

Resistance TRaining

Resistance training is a popular method of physical exercise designed to improve strength and endurance. It has long been associated with weightlifting and the use of weights but can also include a range of techniques such as calisthenics, isometrics, and plyometrics.

Weightlifting is a challenging and demanding sport that requires strength, power, and precision. Two of the most important exercises in weightlifting are the snatch and the clean and jerk. These two exercises are critical for developing strength, power, and overall athletic ability.

Powerlifting is a strength sport that requires intense physical effort, determination, and focus. Unlike other sports that focus on technique, flexibility, and speed, powerlifting emphasizes sheer strength. In this sport, participants perform three attempts at the maximum weight possible for three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift.

Well done to our Purists James,Jamie, Sally and Daniel on completing the Goggins challenge in the Karoo.

Running 4miles every 4 hours for 48hours is a great challenge what really added to it was the 43degree heat to make sure it became a true test of character.

Once again our Purists showing that they are ready for any physical pursuit.

Hot off receiving his Sports Science degree at UJ and surviving our S&C work rate we would like to officially welcome Coach Gab to the Purist Team.

With a humble yet ambitious approach to coaching we are excited to have a young gun like Gabriel in the mix. His love for improving body composition and S&C is going to deliver a standard of results that can only be described as the Purist way.
